PQ Coaching Grant Pod Formation

Who creates a Pod?

  • Once accepted to the PQ Coaching Grant program, the Pod leader will create their Pod, which should include coaching colleagues or professional contacts whom they invited to the program and whose applications were approved.

  • Pod leaders should follow the link in your "Accepted! Next Steps..." email, scroll to Step 4 and click Complete Your Pod Details online form.
  • Once this is completed, you can chat privately with your Pod members in the My Pod channel of the Community in-app.
    • The remaining in-app features will unlock during the first week of the program.

It's important to note that only one Pod member (Pod leader) should complete this form on the Pod's behalf.

How many approved coaches are required to form a Pod?

  • One Pod leader
  • At least 2 additional approved coaches

A Pod Leader is only able to create a Pod when it includes at least two additional approved coaches, meaning at least three approved coaches in total. However, up to 5 approved coaches can be added via the online form.

The Pod leader will ONLY be able to add anyone whose application has been accepted (application approved) into the program.

Pod leaders should not remove any podded coach without their explicit approval.

Can I form a Pod with only one other coach?

A Pod cannot be formed by the Pod leader with only 1 other coach. If your Pod will have only two coaches total, the Pod cannot be created directly via the online form.

In this case, please contact the PQ Support team, being sure to include the name you would like for your Pod and the approved coaches' names and email addresses, ensuring all those who are to be podded are CC'ed on the email.

The Pod must be reviewed and, upon approval, created by the PQ support team on your behalf.  

What if I don't have coaching colleagues who were approved?

Coaches who are unable to form their own Pod will be invited to participate in a PQ Neighbors Pod, created by the Positive Intelligence team. These Pods are organized by time zone. Coaches only need to select the option that they want help forming a Pod in the email from the Positive Intelligence team. 

After your Pod is created

Once the Pod form has been completed, you can communicate privately with your Pod members in the My Pod channel of the PQ Community app. For more information, see Pod Definition and Impact and Pod Success Factors.
