Understanding Sage Steps, PQ Reps, and Muscle Points
Both Sage Steps and PQ Reps are primary ways to build Muscle Points (MPs). They strengthen your Sage Muscle to progress you through the levels.
Difference between a Sage Step and a PQ rep
A PQ Rep is:
- 10 seconds of bringing your primary attention to a physical sensation.
- It is the simplest form of interrupting your autopilot mind and going to Self-Command.
A Sage Step is:
- 10-second step to Catch the Saboteurs, Energize the Sage Brain, or Use Sage Powers.
- Catch the Saboteurs: Catch the Judge, Catch other Saboteurs or use Saboteur-Specific Sage Steps
- Energize the Sage Brain: Celebrate!
- Use Sage Powers: Feel Love, Accept or Convert, or Ask "What's Needed Now?"
- Every Sage Step requires activation of the Sage Brain and therefore builds Sage Muscle.
- Sage Steps are key to forming new habits.
Your first PQ Rep that breaks you out of autopilot mind is one type of Sage Step.
Muscle Points (MPs) daily maximum
Daily Muscle Points (MPs)
- You will notice that there is a maximum number of daily Muscle Points (MPs) that will be credited to growing your Sage Muscle.
- This is similar to physical muscles. You wouldn’t be able to do 500 dumbbell reps in one day to grow instant muscles.
- Any additional MPs beyond the daily max are stored in your account and earn benefits in a feature that is not yet implemented in the app.
- You can earn a maximum of 36 MPs/day.
- Each day you start at 0 MPs for that day, until you earn points.
- The app automatically credits you MPs for doing daily focus, recharge, PQ Gym sessions, and Module completion.
- You only manually enter two things:
- #of Sage Steps
- #of minutes of PQ Repping outside of the app, if you did any.
- You can enter minutes of continuous PQ Repping if you did any outside the app.
- Your FirstRep PQ Rep qualifies as a Sage Step, so you enter it as a Sage Step.
To explore all of the Sage Steps, open the PQ app and go to the Sage Steps screen. Press the “Learn more about Sage Steps” button.
